Ride far. Raise more.

Registration is $18 for students 22 and under and $36 for adults 23 and older. Then every rider sets a fundraising goal — students aim for $100, adults and families aim for $250.

What do the $100 / $250 targets actually mean? →

Registration is the entry fee. $18 for students 22 and under, $36 for adults 23 and older. It's paid once at checkout and covers your ride day — trail support, water stations, food, mechanics, and the SAG wagon.

The fundraising target is separate. Every rider gets a personal page and asks friends and family to give — either a flat gift or a per-mile sponsorship. Students aim for $100, adults and families aim for $250. It's a goal, not a bill: nothing is charged to you if you fall short, and there's no cap if you go past it.

Riding with others? Register everyone in one household checkout, or start a team so each rider keeps their own page while donations roll up to a shared team total.

Questions, answered

Who can ride?

Open to all. Riders of every level are welcome — the Family Ride is built for kids and first-timers.

What does it cost to register?

Student registration is $18 and adult registration is $36 for ages 23 and older. Students fundraise toward a $100 goal; adults and families fundraise toward $250. Every dollar supports Aish St. Louis programming.

I don't own a bike.

Bike rentals are available with advance registration — reserve one on the registration form and we'll have it sized and waiting at the staging area when you check in.

What if I can't finish my route?

SAG wagons sweep every route all day. Flag one down and you get a ride (and your bike gets a ride) back to the staging area, no questions asked.

What's on the course?

Water stations along every route, food at the staging area, mechanics for on-the-spot repairs, and marshals at each trail access point.

Can I fundraise without riding?

Yes — join a team. You get a fundraising page and your total counts toward the team's goal.

How do teams work?

Anyone can start a team and share one link. A team can mix routes freely — Family, Average, Expert, and Virtual riders all count toward the same total.

What is per-mile sponsorship?

Supporters sponsor you for a dollar amount per mile you ride, with presets for each route and an optional cap. We calculate the total from your actual distance.

What's the weather plan?

The Katy Trail is flat, crushed gravel, and rides in light rain. If conditions become unsafe, we'll email and text every registered rider with the call by 7:00 AM ride day.

How do I become a sponsor?

Sponsorships run from mile-marker signs up to full naming rights for the bike-a-thon, the website, and the staging area. Each tier page has the branding inventory, artwork specs, and an inquiry form.
